TFT LCD DISPLAY MAINTENANCE TIPS

With the rapid development of modern society, TFT LCD displays have been comprehensively entered thousands of families and more and more users love to use. But due to lots of users does not understand the TFT LCD displays very comprehensive, lots of TFT LCD displays decline in the life cycle when users do not pay attention to some details and do not maintain, and it’s also easy to cause a large number of small problems. Now we introduce a few maintenance tips of TFT LCD displays, hope to help extend the life cycle of TFT LCD displays.

TFT LCD DISPLAY MAINTENANCE TIPS

First, avoid working for long hours. This does not conflict with the above considerations. Heat will accumulate inside the TFT LCD displays during long hours, which is not a big threat to other electronic components, but the TFT LCD panel may burn out, creating a large area of dead pixel.

Second, do not power off the TFT LCD displays, let it at sleep mode when you don’t use. It’s not to let you waste electricity, but to pay attention to the trade-off of how it affects the lifetime of TFT LCD displays if it's powered on. Backlight LED is one of the most life-consuming components in TFT LCD displays, it is very similar to the fluorescent lamps used in our homes. The lifetime is also strongly related to the number of ignites. The lifetime of the backlight LED is shortened by the increase of preheating and sputtering of the high voltage pulsed cathode electron material at startup. If you have the habit of turning off the TFT LCD displays, the lifetime of the backlight will be reduced by half by turning it on four times a day.

Third, avoid scratching, twisting or hitting the surface of TFT LCD displays. The habit of using your fingers to point at the surface can be fatal to TFT LCD displays. Keep your children and their toys in check, any impact or scratching of the TFT LCD displays will cause direct damage and will most likely render the entire display useless.

Fourth, avoid electricity when clean the displays. It’s a very unwise way to clean by water. Not only it does not clean very well, but also leaves water marks. Importantly, the TFT LCD displays are very susceptible to permanent damage from dampness(if the water drips into the display, let the water evaporate slowly in a warm environment).
